Schwimmequipe des TVE stellt sechs Kreismeister

(bro) (wh) Als Hallensprecher Rudi Joho gegen 16.45 Uhr den letzen Lauf der diesjährigen Kreismeisterschaften des Schwimmkreises Heidelberg im Eberbacher Hallenbad zum Start aufrief, hatte die Schwimmabteilung des TV 1846 Eberbach eine Großveranstaltung mit pravur gemeistert. Mit 754 Einzelstarts, 192 Teilnehmer von zehn verschiedenen Vereinen wurde der TVE vor eine schwere logistische Aufgabe gestellt. Neben den Gastgebern beteiligten sich Schwimmer von der SG Nußloch, SG Poseidon Eppelheim, SV Nikar Heidelberg, TSG Wiesloch, TSG Wiesloch, TSV Buchen, TSG Germania Dossenheim, SV Neptun Waldbrunn und TV Neckargemünd. Chefkoordinator und Abteilungsleiter Andreas Kohler hatte mit seinem Team bereits vor Wochen mit den Vorbereitungen begonnen. Die beiden Leiter des Wettkampfbüros, Michael Sigmund und Wolfgang Hilbert, hatten alle Hände voll zu tun, damit eine zügige Auswertung der Wettkampfergebnisse erfolgen konnte. Unterstützt wurden sie von Petra Röhlig und Birgit Wörtz. Auch der 2. Abteilungsleiter Roland Garhöfer musste in seiner Funktion als Zielrichter-Obmann immer ein wachsames Auge auf alle Zieleinläufe halten.
In den 36 Wettkämpfen, die pünktlich um 9 Uhr starteten, konnte sich der TVE oft gegen die übermächtige Konkurrenz aus Eppelheim und Heidelberg durchsetzten, die bis zu fünfmal die Woche trainieren können. So konnte die Equipe des TVE mit sechs Goldmedaillen, elf Silbermedaillen und zwölf Bronzemedaillen sehr zufrieden über ihr Abschneiden bei diesen Kreis- und Kreisjahrgansmeisterschaften sein. Auch der Trainerstab zeigte sich über die positiven Platzierungen der jungen Nachwuchsschimmer sehr erfreut. Kreismeister wurden Nils Braun sowohl in seinem Jahrgang als auch in der offenen Wertung, Benjamin Kohler und Philipp Sigmund über 50 m Brust und 200 m Freistil.
